Description: For sale: 1 mockup the size of CALB CA180Ah lithium battery cells. These are not real cells! They're very handy for setting up battery boxes and pack wiring in cars and motorcycles without the backbreaking weight and arcing danger of actual cells. Also, they save on some of the upfront costs needed to get started on an EV project and the lost time that the actual cells will be just sitting around while the project is being finished. They're made of new and/or reclaimed wood with threaded inserts on top like the terminals on actual cells. Much lighter than the actual cells and more durable than foam or cardboard mockups. The tops are removable for easier handling. If desired, weights can be added to match the weight of actual cells. The dimensions are within about - 0mm to + 2mm of the manufacturers published figures of 280mm high X 180mm wide X 71mm thick. The mockups may have small splits, knots, and other blemishes in the wood. Other sizes and quantities are available at a discount-check my other listings. Remember these are MOCKUP cells. They have NO power available, NO voltage, NO current, NADA. But, if you are designing and/or building an Electric Vehicle, they will make your task a lot easier and safer.
