There is one minor 'rough' spot on the rim that's not really chipped, just seems like the glaze didn't cover the little spot. There are some utensil marks in the bowl, and some little discolored 'dimples' that appear to be original to the bowl itself. Overall its a great piece - VERY LARGE and HEAVY. - FYI, the price for the bowl is on the 'high' side, because we are not charging enough to ship this item. The way listings are set up, I can only enter one set of shipping parameters. This means that the buyer will only pay the price to ship one cup when purchasing this bowl. Therefore we have incorporated some of the shipping costs into the base price of the bowl to essentially 'share' the cost of shipping. The bowl is very large & heavy, and will pricey to ship. May have minor surface wear, gold gilt wear, and/or surface marks/discolorations consistent with age and use. **Option B - "1 B Cup" this cup is in good vintage shape with ONE FINE CRACK near the handle - as shown in the photos. As with the "A" cups, cup 1 B also may have minor surface wear, gold gilt wear, and/or surface marks/discolorations consistent with age and use. ____________________________________________________ Set 2 - Option A or Option B. Cups from "Set 2" are all from the same estate lot, they are all the same size, but not all the same condition, see below - All are marked JS Germany on Bottom - Holds about 8 fl. oz when filled to the rim - Approx measurements: - 3.25" tall - 3" dia rim - 4" long handle to rim **Option A - "2 A Cup" these three cups are in good vintage shape with no chips or cracks. May have minor surface wear, gold gilt wear, and/or surface marks/discolorations consistent with age and use. **Option B - "2 B Cup" these two cups are in descent vintage shape, however, each has ONE FINE CRACK with discoloration on the rim - as shown in the photos. As with the "A" cups, cups from 1 B also may have minor surface wear, gold gilt wear, and/or surface marks/discolorations consistent with age and use. One of these two cups also has a little 'divit' in the rim, it's not a chip, it's been glazed over, so it seems to be just a flaw during the manufacturing.
