Description: 12 + 3 Khaki Campbell hatching duck eggs My ducks are free range and eggs are collected daily Khaki Campbell ducks are a hardy general purpose breed that lays ~300 large white eggs a year. While they are capable of flight they seldom do and can be confined with a 48" fence. Males and females can be easily identified at adulthood. While a hand raised duck can be quite tame, Khaki Campbells are a bit skittish and a different breed would be more suitable as a pet. Ducklings can go outside at 2 weeks during warm weather and 4 weeks in the cold. Have your incubator set up and tested well before eggs arrive. Check the temperature calibration with an external thermometer before use and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Eggs should be stored point down at room temperature for 12 hours then placed in an incubator.Normal Incubation time for Ducks is 28 daysAfter hatching your chicks will need several weeks in a brooder. Please search YouTube for information and recommendations that work for you. I use heat lamps and 40-gallon storage bins for brooders Please read the following carefully before ordering: Eggs are fragile and purchasing shipped hatching eggs has risk of failure to hatch.I hatch several 100 eggs a month and monitor quality and fertility. While I only ship the best I have, I sometime eggs fail to develop. Delays, treatment and temperature during shipping, storage and handling before incubation, incubation temperature, humidity, turning frequency and other factors have significant effects on egg viability. Each egg is marked with the date collected to ensure eggs have time to arrive for settling and incubation well within a 10-day window. After 10 days, eggs still have a good chance of hatching, but the viability starts to fall. Eggs are usually shipped within 1 to 3 days of being collected. The US Post office is the only carrier that will carry eggs. Shipping labels are purchased through eBay's seller platform and buyers can track the package through eBay. Eggs are packaged securely, but sometimes some will break. If have sufficient stock and space in the box, I will add additional eggs to mitigate this risk. If eggs arrive with cracks, photograph the eggs and I will refund the broken eggs minus any extra eggs shipped. Shipping label, packing, and boxing costs are nonrefundable. Shipping label cost is determined by the post office and packing and boxing is 5$.
