The black socket cap comes already machined to allow a perfect fit of the socket and BNC bulkhead connector. Includes wiring diagram and illustrated installation. Use with Bicron Saint-Gobain, Scionix Holland, Harshaw, Alpha Spectra, Ludlum and other manufactures Gamma Detectors. Works with many common 1-1/2” Hamamatsu, Photonis, Burle, RCA, EMI, and many other brands of PMTs. The socket cap kit includes a single BNC and adapts many 1-1/2" Photomultiplier Tubes and Scintillator Assemblies for use with typical portable and bench-top Survey Meters with single cable inputs and Adjustable HV. Bicron Scintillators and 12 Pin PMT units are always coming up for sale on eBay, but how do you use them with your Survey Meter??? NOW YOU CAN JUST PLUG THEM INTO YOUR METER WITH A SINGLE BNC CABLE. Many times you won't even need to change your High Voltage setting with most PMTs and Probes (you should never plug a PMT into a power source without fully light shielding it first). Feel free to ask seller a question. This assembly is supplied by default with a 111 MegOhm dynode string. I can custom make your dynode string of different values upon request (must make the request before the purchase and wait for a reply).
