Eggs and Fertility Our eggs are gathered as soon as they are laid, in the evening, and stored properly (skinny end down, rotated, unwashed, 50 degree temperature).Hatchability We have had customers with hatch rates as high as 98% and as low as 13%. Hatching is part science and part art. Incubation requires a precise, clean, and temperature-controlled environment and is not easy by any means. Please note that most shipped eggs have a 50% hatchability rate due to the shipping process so expect that rate, it's very hard on the eggs. Please do not leave feedback based on your hatch rates as we have no control over the shipping and incubation process.Shipping You will be notified when your eggs have shipped, and a tracking number will be provided through ebay. We do not monitor weather in destination citifies, please be advised that if it is too cold/hot where you live, we suggest you wait to order until the weather in your area is more reasonable. By buying our eggs, you are saying that you're okay with that risk. We ship our eggs the same day or next day they have been laid. Eggs do not lose fertility until after the 10th day. Please allow time for USPS to make their deliver. Don't worry, fertility will not be effected until the 10th day. Returns If for any reason you wish to return an order, please return all eggs back in their original packaging (at our cost). You will be 100% refunded as soon as USPS shows the eggs as delivered back to us. Extra Eggs Please note that extra eggs given are complimentary, they're free from us to compensate you for the rough way USPS handles them. Free, complimentary eggs are not counted towards hatch rate.Proceeds We are a small hobby farm. As you can imagine after ebay takes their cut, USPS theirs, coupled with the costs of shipping materials, and feeding & caring for the birds; there isn't much profit to be had in this hobby. However, if we do manage to turn a profit all proceeds go 100% to the college funds of our two sons and we sincerely thank you for that!!!
