Included in set: 4x Mobile Lounges A Brief History: Mobile lounges have been part of Dulles since the airport opened in 1962. At the time, they were seen as a state-of-the-art addition to one of the first U.S. airports built for the jet age. The Mobile Lounge was designed by the Chrysler Corporation in association with the Budd Company. It is a 54-foot long, 16-foot wide, 17 1/2-foot high vehicle, weighing 76,500 pounds and a capacity for 102 passengers.
