Description: The Big Trees is a 1952 American lumberjack Western film starring Kirk Douglas and directed by Felix E. Feist. It was Kirk Douglas's final film for Warner Brothers, a film he did for free in exchange for the studio agreeing to release him from his long-term contract. Douglas plays a greedy timber baron who seeks to exploit the sequoia forest, while facing the protest of the Quaker colonists. This is an excellent condition Flat (not Scope) color print mounted on 2 x 1600' reels and printed on EASTMAN color film stock. Please see photos above for image representation and color or b/w quality. This print has leaders, lab-heads and coutdowns. This print was tested for VS, see the results. Test results indicate this print is stable with no VS warping or smell. Runs and projects very well. All films are English language unless otherwise noted.
