Description: This fixture was found hanging in the attic of a Victorian home near Homer Illinois. As can be seen in photos it is in great condition and mechanically sound. I have one font the correct size (see last photo) for this fixture and will ship with fixture. This is not original to this light but from the same era and it fits perfectly. The glass on font is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There are no dents in the ornate brass and will need polished. From where the canopy touches the ceiling to bottom of the finial measures 33". When pulled down to light oil lamps measures 53 1/2". At its widest point it measures 25" and weighs 8 1/2 lb. as pictured. Manufactures name appears on casting for retrieval mechanism but is hard to read. The date is clear, June 18, 1887. When shipping the font holder and arms (held by three thumb screws) will be removed for packing purposes. It has one thumb screw missing in font holder, the other two are there. Please check photos as they are a large part of description. Any questions, please contact me. This fixture will be securely packed and shipped USPS Priority Mail. Thanks for taking a look.
