Description: 1821 Holy Bible printed for The American Bible Society Very worn, leather cracked and missing portions. Covers still well attached. It feels like someone has used a leather treatment to help preserve it. Some protruding signatures, tears, tattered edges. Missing a portion of pages from Zephaniah into the early part of Matthew. A rougher copy, but an early edition of an American Bible Society printing! Measures about 7.25" x 4.5" and about 3" thick at the widest point.
