1829 US Capped Bust Half 5c 1/2 Dime H10c AU Devices, 2500 Estimated Survival(!)

Wow! 1st year that the Capped Bust Half Dime was made, so 1,230,000 of these were struck; yet ONLY about 2,500 of them are thought to still exist - quite a small survival rate(!) Quite pleasing, full rims and original surfaces; appears to be AU with die or other marring at 12' O'clock on the obverse and 6 o"clock on the reverse at the "5c." Also has some interesting, obverse toning.... Please view the large photo(s) carefully, as the item is being sold "as is."
