Published in Boston by Samuel H. Parker, 1845. The books come from a larger set of the Waverley Novels, but this title is complete in these two volumes. The books are quarter-bound in dark leather with leather tips. The covers have attractive swirling design. The spines feature four raised bands with gold titling and gold designs. The covers are securely attached with no cracking or splitting of hinges. Pages are clean and tightly bound. Books have decorative endpages. No writing in books and no signs of previous ownership.
