Description: Scarce and interesting - North America - tinted lithographic map by Schenck & McFarlane, published by A & C Black (1856). A very attractive depiction of the United States, Canada and the Russian Territory of Alaska. The Alaska territory would not be sold to the US for another two years, March 30th 1867. Very good overall condition, only issue is some staining, found on the back, margin and centrally in the US - as evidenced by the pictures. Dimensions (overall including margins) : Width ~ 17.3"Height ~ 12.5" Shipping: USPS first class.
