Description: This old hand colored map shows the counties of Iowa and Missouri. The map also shows the surrounding areas including the Indian Territory" in the lower left (Oklahoma). The small print at the bottom reads - Entered according to an Act of Congress in the year 1860 by S. Augustus Mitchell Jr. in the Clerks Office of the District Court of the U.S. for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. The map has some small binding holes on the left side otherwise in nice condition. Colors are good and strong. Measures 15 1/2" x 12 3/4". A fine 19th US state map. Thanks for looking.
