Description: This is a first edition, 1893, "History of the Worlds Fair" by Major Ben C. Truman. It is a hardback and the covering is a bluish cloth with an imprint of an angel and colored reddish with gold. There are lots of illustrations that were engravings made from photos and drawings. It is a "Complete Description of the World's Columbian Exposition from it's Conception." The publisher was Mammoth Publishing Company. There are 610 pages of history regarding the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. CONDITION: GOOD. The cover has the most damage. Almost completely removed, held to the spine with a few fibers. The rest of the book is intact with strong binding. Some smudges and other signs or use and age but no torn or missing pages. Please view all the pictures for details and feel free to ask questions.
