These earrings appear to be handmade. There are some hallmarks, possibly foreign, stamped on the back but which are unreadable. The earrings have alternating textured and polished graduated sections of gold on the front side, as they curve slightly around the earlobe. The back is polished, and the earrings feel quite solid and well-made. The post goes through the ear at the front, and the wide hinged back portion (with pierced designs) rises to meet the post and lock the earrings in place. These earrings measure 3/4" top to bottom by 3/8" at the widest portion side to side. They test positive for 18k gold, guaranteed and they weigh 4.4 grams. They are in excellent pre-owned condition.
