A very heavy set that will require several boxes for shipping. We have listed this set here on our website at a much lower price than we put on it for ABE ($300 vs. $450). This should help to more than offset the cost of shipping. This scholarly historical publication was in print from 1899 to 1964, with the Index volume appearing several years later. It is full of studies of the history of the Catholic people, explorations, missions and churches in what is now the United States.There are 49 text volumes plus the Index volume. Some years were issued in two parts, and although the run is "50 volumes," there were probably 52-54 books that would make the 50 volumes.
