Description: very nice 1903 stock. 32 inches from stem to stern. the cheek rest part was added on and glued on apparently. don't know if that was normal or not, but its what it is with this one. some scratches and nicks, nothing serious. no breaks or chips or cracks that i can see. no metal included, and someone put a jc higgins butt plate on it. a nice dark brown wooded finish, no fades or anything like that. its a nice heavy stock and in great shape.there is a wedge or spacer where the butt plate meets the stock. You can see it in the photos, I neglected to mention it, so be aware that that is what it is. Wood, not putty. i mistakenly labelled this a springfield 1903, it is not. my mistake.
