Description: A 1905 United Kingdom Royal Humane Society Silver Lifesaving medal. This has engraved on front H.M.S. Conway. Schoolship { School Ship?,perhaps the engraver ran out of space}. The rim has engraved on it E.S. MEREDITH .I can't find a mention of this person but I did find a reference to three cadets from the ship saving a man from drowning in the Mersey that year, I am assuming he is one of the three but please satisfy yourself. The training ship had a very interesting history, a great piece of nautical history for the collector. This is approximately 5.15cm in diameter and approx'y 67.29 gram. There are a couple of small dents on the front side rim but I would call this as in very good condition but we are not professional graders, please zoom into photographs and make up your own mind.
