Description: This antique sugar pot embodies the Art Deco style of the 1920s with its intricate early Chinoiserie Moriage of little raised white dots throughout the vine decoration. Made from porcelain, this original piece hails from Asia and boasts a multi-coloured pastel citrus palette that is sure to add a touch of class to any collection. In excellent vintage condition, this sugar pot is a true testament to the craftsmanship of the era. A must-have for any antique enthusiast, this piece is a rare find that has both it's handles and no repairs! Some wear to the gilding at the touch point I have stated 1920 yet my niggling instinct tell me it's much earlier by another few decades due to lack of stamp I'd like to say 1880 - 1910 but there was a chinoiserie revival in the 20s and It may be a great copy of an earlier piece either way it's definitely an antique in remarkable condition for something used daily at some point in its lifetime and this little treasure needs to draw a new crowd of admirers, Congratulations to to whomever becomes it's new custodian
