Description: Travel back in time with this 1923 Buescher True Tone C-Melody low pitch saxophone. The serial number stamped on the back of the bow is 115,601. The Buescher, Elkhart, Ind., is stamped on the front of the bell. Cosmetically, it looks pretty good for its age. There is also pretty floral engraving on the bell. There is significant lacquer finish wear from playing. The finger pearls look a little worn, but are still good. The neck cork is reinforced with Teflon tape. It has its original neck receiver cap. It comes with the C Melody Runyon mouthpiece, Brevete metal ligature, black plastic mouthpiece cap, a reed and reed case, and a strap. It comes in the original Buescher case. The case is missing one of its two buckle clasps. The middle latch works. The handle is also worn, but it still works. It's a good All-American saxophone, ready for its next owner. Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a stout cardboard instrument box.
