Description: Up for sale is a 1933 $10 Silver Certificate note Arguably the most desirable small size note, this comment free note is housed in a PMG Very Fine 20 holder. The series 1933 note has two unique features, the inscription over the treasury seal and the clause at the bottom that reads, "Payable in Silver Coin to Bearer on Demand." There were 8 releases of the 1933 $10 silvers into circulation. Far fewer of the 216k printed were released as the highest serial# is A00138585A. This note was released through the cash room at the treasury dept. between Jan 13-27,1934. Soon thereafter the 1934 series $10 silvers were released with the clause "In Silver Payable to the Bearer on Demand." and the decision was made to pull the 1933 series. Rarely offered for sale, with a book value of $7500, this fantastic collector grade note would make an excellent trophy addition to any collection. FREE SHIPPING!!
