Description: 1940s glass advertising mirror with thermometer. Advertising K. & M. Meat market 543 Fourth Ave Near 15th Street Brooklyn 15 NY with a 5 digit phone # SOuth 8-0768 Painting of a young boy with his dog and baby brother was done by Frances Tipton Hunter. Measures 10" tall and 7" wide. I assume it would have had a frame at some point. Edges of mirror are wrapped with a type of black masking tape. Holding the mirror to the fiber back board. This is an old "repair". Mirror has spots to the reflective coating. Has a slight hazing at the edge where the mirror meets the painting. Mirror has some small light scratches.
