Description: This 1940's portrait photo is of a young boy in a dark suit with short pants and a white shirt with an large unbuttoned collar. He's standing next to a table covered with an overshot coverlet and is holding a grown-up looking fedora hat in one hand. The photo was taken by Harrell's Studio in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I found references to the studio in the early 40's - I don't know how long it was in business. The mat is7 1/4 by10 3/4 inches and the image 41/2 by 6 1/2. the image is in good condition, but the mat is soiled with some stains.
