Description: This is a scarce soft-cover spiral-bound 1955 CENTENNIAL BOOK, 1855-1955 (see picture) from ITHACA, MICHIGAN. This book, 100 pages in length, includes a wealth of historical information--from the first known picture of Ithaca in 1868 and a complete list of the village presidents to lots of black and white pictures and narrative on Ithaca sports, theatre, newspapers, etc, and Ithaca today in 1955. This book is clean and intact, exhibiting some wear, discoloration, and creasing from handling and storage over the past 69 years. There is a very small stain on the first inside page. Except for the name of the original owner on the inside front cover, there appears to be no handwriting in the book. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Ithaca resident, Gratiot County historian, or vintage publication collector in your life!
