Description: Our grades follow the sameindustry-accepted standards as PSA and SGC. Our grades are not “professionalgrades” as their purpose is to provide a buyer with information on the generalcondition of the baseball card. For this reason, our grades are made within abroad range and not specific grades. All of the general-purpose grading at the UltraBaseball Card eStore is done by one individual making thegrading process/results more consistent. We use an Epson Perfection V600Photo scanner for our high-resolution digital scans within our listings so youcan make your own judgement on the quality, condition, and grade of thebaseball card. The grades you see in ourlisting titles are ranges. We primarily use four graderanges: (1) NM-MT+ to Gem Mint (card grade ranges between8.5 and 10); (2) NM to NM-MT (card grade ranges between 6.5and 8); (3) EX-EXMINT (card grade ranges between4.5 and 6);and (4) VG-VGEX (card ranges between 3 and 4). We donot grade “creased” cards or those with substantial damage asVG-VGEX, but instead label those cards as “Low Grade”. What does “Low Grade”mean? This is another way ofsaying less than VG (3) or higher quality cards withsubstantial damage. These are low quality cards. A collectormight buy as filler card to “fill” a hole in a set until a better copy isfound. Many of these cards exhibit substantial CREASING,MARKS/WRITING,STAINS, PAPER-LOSS, RECOLORING, TRIMMING/CUTTING or other significant damage ORalteration.
