Unlike other blue and black text stickers currently on the market, this is designed to exactly match a NOS air filter, featuring the correct colors and script. Photos of an original engine dress-up kit featuring the purple text decal are shown. Please see the pictures. The backside is an ultra sticky adhesive that will mount to any clean surface. Just peel and stick. This decal is 100% correct for most Fords between 1961 and 1972. "In 1961, the Ford Motor Company acquired the Autolite trade name along with an Ohio spark plug factory. Autolite products became standard original factory equipment in Ford vehicles. A federal antitrust lawsuit was filed against Ford, which dragged on through the remainder of the 1960s, ultimately being decided in 1972 by the Supreme Court against Ford, and Ford was forced to sell its Autolite-related assets to the Bendix Corporation by 1973."
