Description: Description The Tasha Tudor Book of Fairy Tales. Hardcover book. Selected, edited and illustrated by Tasha Tudor. Year: 1961. Publisher: Platt & Munk. No dust jacket (as originally issued). 1st edition, 1st printing. 92 numbered pages. The book measures approx. 12 1/4" tall x approx. 10 1/8" wide. SIGNATURE: The book is signed (see pic #6). However, I have no idea if the signature is a valid and true, Tasha Tudor signature or simply signed by some random person. Therefore, the signature was not taken into account when pricing this book. CONDITION: I think this is a nice 1st edition copy of this book. Not perfect, but still nice overall. The front and back covers as well as the spine do have various types of wear and soil. The spine, in particular, has more wear, though the binding seems tight. The inside of the front cover has a hand written gift message dated 1973. The inside pages look very nice.
