1963 Ford Galaxie

Description: Up for sale is my 1963 Ford Galaxy XL 500. I bought this carseveral years ago from an estate. The gentleman who owned the car absolutelyloved this car, very well taken care of. I have put a lot of work into it to make itmore as a daily driver. It is very roadworthy, Runs down the road excellent. Itis a true pleasure to drive this car and has Under 54000 miles. The engine was recently rebuilt by Mcgunegill Engine Performancein Muncie Indiana. Duane and his crew are one of the top engine builders in thecountry. Also one of the best Ford engine builders in the country. This wasdone in late 2022. The engine was also rebuilt by Holbrook race engines inLivonia, Michigan back in 2005. . While the engine was being freshened up. The carhas a C6 automatic transmission so I had the transmission rebuilt and it alsohas a part number 441100 TCI torque converter.I had the door panels off to work on the window tracks, as you can see; there is no rust on the inside of the doors. The car is very rust free. I did notice one area where the firewall comes down and meets the floorboard on the right side. Somebody has done a little bit of patchwork there. I do have the factory stock hood. It matches the original paint on the car and is in very good condition. On the brakes I put a part number 140-13653 Wilwooddisc brake conversion for the front from drums brakes on the front to disk. Therear is drum brakes.New gas tank I also put a radio system FM radio in.Patriot exhaust electric cutouts that work offof a key fob.The car went to Cincinnati to professionalgentleman that wires cars and he used American auto wire system and wired. Atotal rewiring was completed. Everything is new and everything worksas it should. Wipers, heater, lights so on. Installedan Ididit steering column with tilt wheel and new aftermarket steering wheel. New power master performance alternator one wireInstalled a Lokar performance products Automatic shifter. Installed an electric line lock. Installed a Dakota digital VHX gauge system Installed a Borgeson power steering box and system with hoses and power steering pump.New Leed power brake master cylinder, booster, distribution block with brake light indicator and adjuster for rear brakes.New American Racing wheels 17 x 7 front 17 x 8 rear and new tires MSD ready torun distributor and plug wires. Interior isin very good condition With nohesitation the car starts right up. Runs Great. Folder full of notes and receipts. Selling offsome of my cars. .
