You are purchasing an ORIGINAL 1965 "A&BC" - the English version of the 1962 Topps Civil War News - Currency $5 - Serial #24497" (Note: the English series of these currencies have "black backs" where the Topps version have "blue backs.") I consider this currency item to be in good condition. (However, I am NOT a grader of cards - just a non-sports collector of vintage pre-1970 cards!) These currencies are getting harder and harder to locate in any condition. Like it's counterpart, the 1962 Topps Civil War News, these English cards and currencies are also highly collectible and very sought after mid 20th century non-sports cards. This currency will make a great addition for your set building, or an excellent starter card if you are starting your A&BC 1965 "Civil War News Currency" collection!
