Description: 1973 Topps Comics SEALED/UNOPENED gum pack from one of the scarcest & most desirable test issues Topps ever produced! Pack is all-original & unaltered with the player comic still tightly wrapped around the 5" stick of gum. Recently unearthed and originally obtained back in the 1980's. Johnny Bench is pictured on the exterior all of the wrappers, but the interior will carry one of twenty four different stars including the likes of Nolan Ryan, Hank Aaron, Reggie Jackson, Johnny Bench, Tom Seaver, Harmon Killebrew, Willie Stargell, Willie McCovey, etc. These gum packs were so limited in supply that collectors still today are not entirely certain they were ever distributed for public sale. Most likely they were not but a few did survive...here is your proof! Beautiful condition with just a tiny 3/4" separation/tear in the top left corner on the backside of the comic. Talk about a white whale!!
