Description: Original, vintage 1974 Fender Stratocaster guitar neck, maple board, medium frets in good shape with some visible wear, no buzz. Neck is straight, bullet truss rod works well. Very comfortable rear profile, less chunky than others from the era. Shows player wear throughout, dings and scratches, finish wear along the edges of the board. All surface wear is pictured. The bottom of the headstock was shaved down a bit (pic #7). I don’t know the story, I assume it was chipped at some point and sanded flush to blend with the profile. The work looks like it’s decades old. The Schaller tuners work well, the stock holes were filled, it looks like a pro job. The heel markings are worn off, I can provide more information and photos of the original guitar upon request. This is a very nice vintage neck with great vibe, moderately relic’d, very easy to play. This item comes exactly as pictured, please see photos and ask any questions before purchase.
