Description: AGE/COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: 1975 USA CONDITION REPORT: The sideboard is in nice used condition and clean inside and out. It is structurally sound. No chips, cracks, deep scratches, stains, odors, or repairs. The is a light finish scratch on the top and a slight settle on the outside of one drawer but as picture shows it is on the outside surface and does not go through to the the wood. A settle results in and around grain where the part of the grain dries faster then the than the rest of the plank. It is a natural common occurrence in solid plank wood (see pictures). The finish is in nice condition. The 3 drawers glide smoothly with working locks and a key. It has its removeable flatware try with felt insert and cover to keep sterling and silver plate from tarnishing as quickly. It has 2 hidden document boxes between the 3 drawers. It does have some light green dye from candle wax in the center drawer. It came from a nice home and was well cared for since 1975. It is in a classic traditional Queen Anne style. Style #2378 and color #24. Beautiful craftsmanship and high quality Henkel Harris is know for.
