Description: This item was purchased personally by this seller at the surplus sale for 1980 Olympics after the 1980 Winter Games at Lake Placid, NY. It has the “1980 Olympics” asset ID tag 3594 attached to it. Of course, 1980 Winter Games are remembered as the venue where Eric Heiden won 5 individual gold medals with 4 Olympic records and one world record, as well as where the “Miracle on Ice” happened. This unit is not in working condition, missing its security lock key (lock in on position), as well as its spare battery for off-cradle use and possibly other parts. Its plastic outer body has yellowed over time and the calculator has upper edge break damage as seen on the pics. The calculator can’t be locked firmly to the cradle.
