1994 Oasis North American Tour Vintage T-Shirt Union Jack Swirl Original Owner

Description: For sale is a my rare 1994 Oasis North American Tour white t-shirt in size XL. This is a shirt with a lot of Oasis history. This is not a thrift store find. I've owned it for over 29 years but have decided it's time to let it go to a big fan so I can afford to see them again on tour one last time. The t-shirt features the original Oasis Union Jack swirl pattern that Noel requested for a design back in 1993 for their demo tapes. You may see copies of this iconic design but this version here is an original t-shirt bought in Boston on their tour of the USA in March of 1995. The date on the shirt is 1994 (see photos) so I believe it was probably ordered for the tour at that time to be sold as they travelled. I've since worn this shirt to some iconic Oasis gigs. Highlights included the show at the Strand in Providence in 1996 that was cut short when Noel was hit by a sneaker thrown by a guy beside me. Incidentally, the same guy hit me and my mate over the head with the same shoe for an hour before he chucked it right at Noel smack in the middle of the guitar. Liam came out and threatened to bite the fingers off of the guy who threw it -- which he didn't end up doing -- but Oasis never played Providence again so go figure. Liam's beer was poured on this at the Worcester Centrum show in 1996 while I was at the front barrier. Before the gig kicked off, it was a pretty worked up crowd and we wondered what would happen. We ended up getting hosed down by security, prior to Oasis going onstage, presumably to cool us off. The show was amazing. After Noel's accoustic segment of the set was over, Liam came back onstage carrying a beer with him, took a huge gulp from it, and handed it to me. I never got a taste of it. I raised it to my lips and the crowd descended on me to grab it but a lot was spilled on this shirt. Yeah, I washed it. Years ago. This shirt has so many memories from other gigs from the 90's and early 00's like the Sex Pistols at Crystal Palace, Marilyn Manson, Garbage, The Verve, Radiohead, Ian Brown, Pulp, Buffy Clyro, Spiritualized etc. I wore it everywhere as my concert T so I'm sort of surprised it lasted all these years. But, it's pretty sturdy cotton material and much better quality than you buy nowadays. I'm parting with a huge piece of musical history and it draws a tear to my eye but it's time to let someone else enjoy the story and make their own history in it and carry on the vintage for the next generation of rock icons.
