Description: Pristine Auctions is proud to present this awesome 1994 Ovation USA EA68 Viper Acoustic Electric Guitar in Matte Black. What an incredible instrument this is. This is a gigging musician's dream. It has all the sound and playability of a USA made ovation without the girth and thickness of the bowl design. Features a five piece neck ( Looks like Walnut and Maple to me), an Ebony Fret Board and a fully composite body. I've never seen another like this, as it may have been a custom order from back in the day. The Viper pre-amp screams. We have this instrument listed in very good condition. There are some small dings on the back of the neck which is photographed. There are also some small insignificant binding cracks on the fingerboard. All is all this is a 30 year old used guitar that has been gigged and enjoyed for the past 30 years. Other than what is mentioned it is a super clean piece. All this guitar needed upon arrival was a fresh set up. We put on D'Addario 12-53 gauge acoustic guitar strings and gave her a fret polish. The frets only show a hint of wear and are still close to new. She will ship professionally packed and fully insured. It will come in a brand new Fender Gig bag to ensure safe travels.
