Now, let me say right off that you may have noticed something off about the title on this one. Because a Troy quarter pound should be 3 Troy ounces, not 4 like the listing title says, because a Troy pound is 12 ounces. I'm just repeating what the COA with this thing says. So, lightweight I tried to get the plastic case open that this bill is in, but it didn't want to open. So, the best I could do is weigh this thing on my eBay scale in the plastic case pictured, and it weighs 186.2 regular old grams (its my eBay scale). Now, convert 186.2 regular grams to Troy ounces, and it is 5.99 Troy ounces. So I don't know how much the plastic case this thing is in weighs, but regardless of what the COA says, or what the title of this listing is, that's what this thing weighs. Now, this particular Bill Proof is from the Washington Mint, and comes with the pictured Certificate of Authenticity, which identifies this particular $100 Silver Proof Bar as #13046, and states, "This certifies that each Quarter Pound Silver Proof is proof struck by The Washington Mint. Each Quarter Pound Silver Proof has been individually die struck by The Washington Mint, and each contains one quarter pound of .999 pure silver. New US Franklin $100 Bill"Now, we all know that skylers_junk ain't no Washington Mint Silver bar proof grader, so prior to purchasing this quarter pound silver proof bar please carefully review all listing pictures as they are the description and the condition of the actual item(s) you are buying. You picking up what I'm putting down? Solid!! So, with that out of the way, the bar looks to be in pretty good shape. Now, this bar is supposed to be a proof, but what if the case it's in opens? Except, I tried to get it open. Not super hard, but pretty good, and it doesn't really want to open. So we should be good there. Bar looks untouched. It should be noted that there are two small cracks, one on each of the sides of the plastic case that this bar comes in (picture #8 and picture #9). Nothing wrong with the bar, just a couple of cracks in the case. It should also be noted that there is a small amount of toning to the actual bar itself, back side, on the bottom and both sides...just a little on the top also. Other than that, looks pretty good. Last thing I want you to be aware of (and sorry but as I was getting ready to pack this just now is when I noticed...) the bar moves around inside the plastic case pretty good. There is really no way to stop it without opening the case, which I'm not going to do. Just wanted you to be aware.
