As an experiment, I added red food coloring and water and flour (to make water more opaque) together and filled the basin about 80% full, and I demonstrate the Halloween fountain in action in the attached video. The flour may not be totally necessary, and if you do use some, a little goes a long way :-) Fountain is approximately 12" x 12" at widest points. Box does not have the original styrofoam in it.
