Description: Disclaimer: We do NOT ship citrus trees to Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Texas, or anywhere outside of the US. Hello everyone! This listing is for 2 bare root (no soil) seedlings of Citroncirus citrandarin, also known as hardy mandarin orange. Please soak their roots in cold water for 12 hours immediately upon receipt. The plants included will have adequate root development for transplanting into a larger pot or directly into the ground. These plants are known to grow and fruit reliably in cold climates with no problem; we plan on testing them in New York. Once they are established in your area, they can survive as low as 0F. We offer 3 different varieties of citrandarin: X-639, US-942 and US-852. Currently, we are only selling X-639, which is a hybrid between Cleopatra mandarin and trifoliate orange, US-942 is a hybrid between Sunki mandarin and 'Flying Dragon' trifoliate orange, and US-852 is a hybrid between a Changsha mandarin and trifoliate orange. Citrandarins have a sweet and tart mandarin-like taste and make an excellent juice and marmalade. Fruit size is typically around 70g. These plants are recommended for growing outdoors in plant hardiness zones 7-9. To find out your plant hardiness zone, use this link: https://planthardiness.ars.usda.gov/
