Description: 2 Rare Early MARKED HARLEY DAVIDSON Motorcycle Half helmet Visor Buco His & Hers. One of a kind pair of personalized helmets. Both are marked Harley Davidson on leather straps. Unsure if these are made by Harley completely or if buco made them but I don’t see buco’s name anywhere on the helmet or grommets. I’d think these are from around the 1940’s maybe earlier or maybe a little later. I’m sure the names were painted on around the time they were purchased. I only wiped them off. They show wear from use but no major damage. Didn’t attempt to clean the outer shells. The inside of the women’s helmet is in better shape then the mans, the leather shows less wear and the sweat guard is in a lot better shape. Both have none of the padding left inside. What was left in the women’s crumbled in my hand but I was able to save the leather marked #7 which I’m assuming is the size. I didn’t see a size on the mans helmet but looks to be about the same size. Both show surface rust on the hardware and buckles. Just an amazing find. Comes as seen in the photos.
