This is just the shiny metal part that peels and sticks onto your own access plates. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Replace the shiny metal DD emblems missing from the access plates on your Dolby 361 frames with these brand new replacement metal tags from Synhouse, manufactured of the same high quality materials and adhesive with crystal clear printing and brilliant colors as the famous Synhouse drum/synth overlays, the only difference is these are printed on shiny metal instead of polycarbonate plastic. These are properly made of a smooth-as-glass shiny metal plate substrate material, precision die cut to shape after being silkscreened with high quality 2-part epoxy ink, and have peel-and-stick industrial adhesive on the back to secure it in place on your access plates. So many 360 and 361 frames (and hundreds of Cat. 22 cards) and loose access plates have come into Synhouse over the last three decades, and these have a strange history that has almost come full circle. The 361 frames were sold new with access plates to cover the inserted cards. I don't recall seeing 360 frames with access plates that said "360" on them, all the plates I've seen and had say "A-TYPE MODEL 361" on them, and those are often seen installed on 360 frames (I know I've put them on mine here), but I can't see why they would have come that way. But the 360s have the same thumbscrew mounting there and they fit, so it must have been for a reason. The majority of 361 access plates out there don't have the shiny metal DD emblems on them. It's possible they made some 361s later on (there was no direct replacement for the 360/361 until the 363 frames in 1986) and didn't bother to put the emblems on there anymore, but on most that don't have emblems, you can look closely and see the dried glue where they had been there and have fallen off. The access plates weren't really needed, it's not like the cards are just going to jump out, and the idea that they were needed to hold the cards in place while in racks being transported is kinda laughable because those absolute garbage ice cube switch caps on the front will go FLYING off for any reason or no reason at all, long before the cards would ever come out, so studios usually took the access plates off and threw them away. Some got misplaced in boxes of parts and that's why Synhouse has gotten so many in without any 360/361 frames at all. But the funny thing is that some of the exact same old time studio pros who were the ones taking the access plates off and never using them again are now buying these modules and wanting everything to be vintage perfect and coming to Synhouse to get parts and replacement access panels. And nearly everyone who does tells me they want "the one that has the Dolby emblem on it.", not the ones where the emblems are missing. So now Synhouse has the emblems you can install yourself on access plates where the emblems have been missing for decades. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- There is a minimum shipping price for all of my small components and a different minimum for a very low value item or for something $50 or more.
