The chisel blade is ground to 30 degrees the first 1/3 of back is flattened it is sharpened and ready to go to work when you receive it. The Slick Handle is hand turned from American Hard Rock Maple Wood and is beefy enough to reduce damage from mallet blows with beautiful fit and finish!This chisel handle hardwood is from the United States and is very strong has a wonderful fine grain with beautiful coloring.
