As with many of the moresubtle and less visible doubled dies of 2009, rotationof the coin is critical in order to see the variation in theappearance of the doubling as the coin is rotated onthe microscope platform. The photos above were takenwith rotation of the coin through 360 degrees, in order to see the resulting slight variation in appearance of the error with LED lighting from all sides.
