Measurements are in inches unless otherwise stated: #24-126, 1880's Victorian Black Silk Caplet Amazing Detail Halloween: This 1880's caplet was made in the 1880's of black silk. The sleeves made of knotted cording, and the garment trimmed in silk ribbon and braid. There is only half of a silk bow left at the neckline. The left side collar has damage. See photos. The trims have turned brown with age. It is missing some hooks and eyes. There is damage to the silk of both shoulders. The lining is in good condition except in the shoulder area. The dress form I have it on, has a bust of 34 inches and a waist of 26 inches. It fits it very well. This is the perfect garment to complete a Victorian Character coming back from the past.
