Description: Selling one NOS 24 Volt VDO analog Modulcockpit gauge in good working and cosmetic condition. For 24 Volt trucks, buses, heavy machinery, construction equipment, stationary powerplants and boats. NOS never used or installed. 24 Volt negative earth standard ground gauge. If you are going to use this gauge in a boat, the gauge and your sending units will need to share a common ground. This gauge fits a 95mmX95mm square panel cutout. The gauge does not require a Smartlink encoder or on-board computer to run it, and it can use standard commercially available VDO sending units, or Chinese made knockoffs of standard VDO sending units. Complete kit with lighting sockets, 24 Volt bulbs, and mounting brackets. Sending units are not included. The gauge has been tested and confirmed to be in good working condition. This gauge came to me without a wiring diagram, so I added the pre-soldered crimpable color coded wiring pigtail and labelled the wires so that I could test the gauge and determine the resistance values of the sending units it will work on. The wiring pigtail is included. The fuel gauge can use any VDO 10 to 180 ohm, 10 to 184 ohm or 3 to 180 ohm fuel tank sending unit. It will also work with a stock Mercedes Benz Unimog fuel tank sending unit. The oil pressure gauge can use any VDO 10 to 180 ohm, 10 to 184 ohm or 3 to 180 ohm 0 to 80 PSI/0 to 5 Bar oil pressure sending unit. It will also work with a stock Mercedes Benz Unimog oil pressure sending unit. The water temperature gauge can use any VDO 287.4 to 22.7 Ohm water temperature sending unit, including any new VDO water temperature sending units that are currently being produced by VDO. The water temperature gauge will also work with a stock Mercedes Benz Unimog water temperature sending unit. All VDO sending units made after 1968 are universal 6 to 24 Volt units and work on 6, 12 and 24 Volts interchangeably. The voltage gauge runs directly off of the main power supply for the module (Red wire connects to starter switch of the vehicle). The secondary power wire for the through-dial lighting sockets piggybacks off of the existing speedometer dial lighting power wires of the vehicle. High quality gauge with real glass lens instead of plastic. Perfect gauge for panels that are already crowded with radio and navigation systems etc.
