The coin itself is better than the scan shows and has very fine details in Liberty's hair, the eagle's feathers on the wing, and the rays on top of liberty as well as surrounding the eagle on the reverse. The coin retains most of its mint luster and has great eye appeal. The coin itself looks much much better than the scan shows with very clear details, which because of the luster reflecting off the scanner did not show well. These coins were designed by Antony de Francisci. Please carefully review the scan presented as it is part and parcel of our description. Date: 1925. Mint: Philadelphia. Size and weight: 26.73 grams of 0.90 Silver, is 38.1 mm in diameter and has a reeded edge. References: Page 226 in "2012 US Coin R. S. Yeoman (The Official Red Book), 65th edition, Kenneth Bressett, editor, Published by Whitman Publishing, LLC, Atlanta, GA." Condition: I would grade this coin as high end about uncirculated or much better (in my opinion the coin verges on being a mint state, but you be the judge). The coin is beautiful and has quite a bit of its original details preserved throughout. It also has a most of its original mint luster and great eye appeal. It does have some scratches and bag marks, which do not distract from its beauty and quality. The coin is problem free and would make a great addition to your collection.
