It is now widely grown as a common houseplant. General Description: An evergreen perennial creeper or vine, commonly grown as a houseplant. Hardiness Zone: 8 to 11 Maintenance: Low Mature Height: 2 to 4 feet Mature Width: 6 to 12 feet long Plant Details: Growth Habit: Trailing vine with a medium growth rate. Leaf Structure: Wide oval to longitudinal oval or heart-shaped. Waxy, glossy surface, measuring 1 ½ to 2 inches wide by 1 ¼ to 5 inches long. General Notes: Folklore insists hoyas prefer to be pot bound as it hastens flowering. They should be repotted every 3 years, so they stay healthy.
