Moderate browning on all the pages will be seen, evidence of foxing, such as brown blotches or discoloration will be seen. Deep blue matte finish covers, that has a tiny texture feel & appearance of the front - spine and back covers. Debossed imprint at front cover and spine, with an emblem at the top center of hc, filled in with gold tone colors. Heavy browning and color fading. Rips, scuff smearing, rubbing at perimeter edges of this book. Rips, scuff tears at top/bottom edges of book, which includes top/bottom edges of spine. Moderate browning of pages. Good condition binding. Pen, pencil markings of names at the back side of the front and back cover. Some internal pages, not too many will show evidence of browning smudging, this could be signs of foxing. However, there are no foxing signs of brown tiny dots. This is an Antique HC book edition, printed, circa 1895, which shows these aging, defect conditions. However, even for an 1895 HC book edition, this entire book still has a good structural condition, readable, & you can still hold this 1895 HC book, within your hands and be able to enjoy reading. Brief conditions of book: A cloth like feel & appearance, with a texture looks & feel of the front - spine - and back covers. A deep offset Blue in colors, with a debossed imprint of the title headings & border lines at the front cover. The spine cover has the same debossed imprinting, but filled in a gold tone color that has faded in luster in time. Extensive color fading of the front-spine-and back covers, with moderate browning of the pages. The 1st page pastedown, light green in color, with a floral pattern, has a rip, at the bottom edge, nearest to the spine, and a light white sticker, at the very bottom right corner, of the same location. The front cover had ripped from the center binding, showing the inside stitch binding, but still fully intact. You can easily open this book, because of this condition. All internal pages are in a good structural condition, showing no tearing from within the center binding. However, it will show moderate browning, which includes any black & white illustrations. The back side cover has the same color properties of that of the front cover, however, also has a white color sticker affixed at the very bottom right corner. The back cover had also ripped from the center binding, but still fully intact, showing the center stitch pattern binding. The corners edges of the front/bottom corners of the front/back covers will show dings-dented down with scuffing - rubbing tears. The top/bottom/& center fore edges of this book will show extensive browning with signs of foxing, fully evenly cut when the book is made. This antique book was printed, circa 1910, & still has a good structural condition, & you can still be able to hold this very old book, within your hands, and be able to enjoy reading it.
