Description: Crabcakes & Cannabis 420 BUD Sticker This sticker was recently Discontinued by Crabcakes and Cannabis because the McCormick Company sent a Seize and Desist letter for violating their copyright/trademark of their iconic Old Bay Can. McCormick has made it known that they do not like Cannabis nor Cannbis users as they don't want to be associated with such a product. "“McCormick takes this matter very seriously as it is not in the business of sponsoring products relating to marijuana use, and wishes to protect its consumers from confusion,” a lawyer for the company wrote in a letter last month. The company further alleged that the parody sticker would damage McCormick’s reputation by creating a wrongful association between the company and cannabis." Personally, I am not a fan of companies that throw their weight around and don't have any humor in their heart, picking on small time businesses such as Crabcakes & Cannabis. The sticker is 3" by 3" in size. It is done in the style of Maryland's Iconic Old Bay Can. It says "420 Bud" where it normally says "Old Bay." In the blue strip on the left it shows a Bong, Joint, and Bowl, where the normal can shows Crabs, Shrimp, and Chicken. The sticker says "Dank Herb" where the real can says "Seasoning." The sticker says, "For Chilling, Creating, Munching, Medicating" where the real can normally says, "For Seafood, Poultry, Salads, Meats." The sticker says, "Crabcakes & Cannabis That's what Maryland does!" where the real can normally says, "Same great taste since 1939." At the bottom of the sticker it shows a circular "Crabcakes and Cannabis style MD Flag." I am not associated with Crabcakes & Cannabis company.
