Description: Description of item for sale: This solid wood hand carved statue of Saint Julien is from France and it dates to the late 1800's or possibly early 1900's. Note the fine details in the carving. Its hand painted polychrome finish is in good antique condition. It has received some touchups to the paint over they years but the colors are very well matched. Overall this statue is in very good antique condition with only minor scratches and discolorations as would be expected. However, note that his right hand thumb is missing. Overall, there is no woodworm or dry rot. Dimensions: 43" tall.
