These were collected empty - the baby sharks had already hatched!Five egg cases per lot.The "corkscrew" shape is very odd for shark cases - the design is so that the fresh egg cases will get wedged between submerged, rocky crags and similar structures until the babies emerge. Some may have a hole in one side where it "hatched" or was naturally damaged before washing ashore.Size ranges from 3 to 4 inches long each.
